March 25 Hi Everyone, This week was really rainy but it was still great.  Down here when it rains nobody does anything and we can't drive on any dirt roads.  So it cuts out about half of our area.  At the beginning of the week, we had a training meeting where all the trainers and trainees go and receive counsel.  It was really great and my companion really enjoyed it because he got to see some people from his MTC district.  But, that whole day was basically travel because it was by the mission office - 3 hours away.    Later in the week, we were able to talk with a recent convert that hasn't been to church in a while.  We had a great discussion with her.  She also said I look like a young Nicolas Cage.  Apparently, she and her roommate were watching Raising Arizona and they kept saying how in that movie .. he reminded her of me.     But, yeah not a crazy week but it really flew by.  Thanks eve...

  March 12 This week was another great week in Statesboro Georgia! Elder Richardson and I have been working hard!  On Tuesday, we got a text from a member who had not been to church in about five years.  He said he had quit drinking and really needed us to come over and teach him a lesson to keep his mind off of alcohol.  He told us he had been drinking everyday for a while and was having about 5 beers a day.  He's a really great guy and is definitely doing great.  We're meeting with him again tomorrow.   For Elder Richardson's 1st Wednesday, I decided I needed to introduce him to Wingstop. We ate 40 wings for wingsday so that was a lot of fun.  But, not too many crazy things happened this week!   March Zone Conference March 18 Hi Everyone, This week was a great week full of great missionary work.  Nothing really exciting but we met a lot of people with potential.  There was also a big storm so a lot of the dirt roads...

Mar 4 Hi everyone, This week was very exciting.  Elder Larsen was transferred out of The Boro and I am staying but I was thrown a curveball.  My new companion is right out of the MTC and I am training him.  I was not expecting that.  I was really surprised when the Mission President called me and honestly really nervous.  Elder Richardson is really cool and we haven't had any problems getting to work.   Elder Richardson is from St. Louis Missouri so everyone thinks it's cool that there are no Elders from Utah here right now.  This week was stake conference so we have not been able to introduce Elder Richardson to anybody yet but next week there will be a lot of introductions.   Stake conference was really uplifting.  There were a bunch of great messages about aligning our will with God's.
