Feb 26 This week was a really fun week.  Exchanges were great.  I spent the day with Elder Clements.  We drove around Statesboro and when we drove by the GSU stadium we saw that a gate was open.   So we walked in and took a picture,  in the stands by the field, and then quickly left.  We then drove all the way out to Metter for visits.  Metter is an even smaller town than Statesboro.  It's mostly fields and abandoned houses.  We then of course ended the exchanges with 80 wings from Wing Maxx.     We also had the "Roadshow" which was not what I thought it would be.  It was just the AP's came down and changed some things but it wasn't like a show.   It was an hour and 10 minutes away from my apartment so it was an annoying drive.  We did get to play knock out after.   While it was fun, it just didn't live up to the name or what I expected.     We did teach a lot of people and I hav...

Feb 19 Hello Everyone,     This week was kind of all over the place.  It's weird that there are no holidays when you are a missionary.  I knew it was Valentine's Day .. but it was just another day.  I did get to go down to Savannah this week for mission president interviews.  We were very blessed because there is a member in my ward who was having health issues and was life flighted to the Savannah hospital.  Since we were there, we were able to just go to the hospital and give him a blessing.  It was really awesome to see how the Lord provided a way for that.   As normal, we drove down a typical dirt road this week but we had to stop because water had eroded some of it and then it collapsed in.  It was really cool to see and I'll put some pictures of that.     The funny thing this week was that we were able to feed some horses.  My horses' names were ToKillYa and Whiskey.  We even set up a ti...

Feb 12 This week was a pretty standard week.  No exchanges or anything but it was still a lot of fun.     We went to visit an investigator that lived in the middle of nowhere.  We didn't even know if there was a house there.   We passed 2 abandoned houses/sheds before we found the right one.  There were also people outside and just watched us drive in so we were a little nervous.   But the person who lives there is actually very nice and we will visit them again.  We also saw another stray dog.  There are so many stray dogs here and we sometimes see packs of them but we can't do anything but give them some dog treats and leave them on the side of the road.   Later in the week we had a zone meeting and after that we played a little bit of basketball. The church building we go to doesn't have a court right now (they are replacing the floor) so I haven't played in like a month.  It was great but I...

Feb 5 Hi everyone,   This week was really fun.  We did exchanges twice so there was a lot of variation.  At the beginning of the week, Elder Larsen and I exchanged with the Vidiallia elders. I got to stay in the Boro with my homie Elder Gregory. We had a nice time in Statesboro.  We spent most of our time visiting less active members.  We visited a member that has a lot of farm animals.  We first went and saw their beaver that lives under their dock and then we went over to their barn.   They have a donkey and  some goats.  One of the goats just gave birth.  So I got to hold a baby goat that was less than a week old. It was really fun and cool.  We then unexchanged at wing Maxx and we split 50 wings from there.  It was Wingsday so they were half off.    Then later in the week we had exchanges with the Savannah Elders and I was able to go down to Savannah and have some fun down there.   We taught a man and I ...
